1. Getting my stress levels under control.

Not in a bubble bath and fcking whale music kind of way.

In a saying no, having boundaries and not trying to be all things to all people kind of way.

Stress tanks progesterone. Your hormones couldn't care less how worthy the cause was.

2. Prioritising blood sugar over calories

My meals aren't based around a restrictive calorie target.

They're focused on keeping blood sugar stable, even if that means 'I'm eating more'

Because riding the mother of all blood sugar rollercoasters is stressful as fck for your body.

Higher cortisol and elevated insulin = crappy conditions for oestrogen and progesterone.

Not exactly a recipe for hormonal optimisation.

3. Reducing things that don't fill my cup (literally).

This includes caffeine.

For me it promotes a chaotic cycle of cortisol peaks, insulin dumps and blood sugar crashes. A hormonal shit-show.

Caffeine tolerance is highly individual, but it's something to consider before you tuck into 3 espresso martinis.

4. Doing less 'exercise', more recovery

A lot of women are trying to fix a stressed body with more stress.

This was definitely me from my monster-session crossfit days!

If your workouts are leaving you exhausted, wired and feeling like snacky-mc-snackson for the rest of the day....

...you're right back on that cortisol-blood sugar roller coaster, hindering the whole delicate dance of hormones.

5. Building muscle instead of chasing calorie burn

I'm not interested in burning off brunch.

I'm interested in insulin sensitivity, metabolic health, bone density and being difficult to break.

Different energy entirely and a big win for your hormones.

That's my 5.

Not a 67 step supplement regime.

Not a detox tea.

Not a 1200-calorie meal plan.

Just simple things that work surprisingly well.

And the important bit? Your five might not look exactly like mine.

Because the answer isn’t another generic midlife protocol. It’s figuring out what’s actually driving your symptoms, what your body needs now, and where your effort is going to make the biggest difference.

That’s exactly what I do with my clients.

If you’re fed up with throwing shit at the wall and want some help joining the dots, fill in the short application below.

There’s no awkward sales pitch waiting for you at the other end. I’ll have a look at what’s going on, tell you honestly whether I think I can help, and which of my services, if any, actually makes sense for you.

Because you don’t need to know what kind of support you need.

That’s my job.
